Channel nuts feature indentations that fit onto the lips of strut channels, providing gripping strength to secure threaded rod and other hardware to struts.A spring plus serrated grooves that grip the lip of the channel provide a more secure hold than standard strut channel nuts.
Zinc-plated steel nuts are corrosion resistant in wet environments.
316 stainless steel nuts have excellent resistance to chemicals and salt water.
Aluminum nuts are about half the weight of steel and resist corrosion in wet environments.
